The texture of this stuff is pretty good. A little soft, but very satisfying. I really like the strawberry flavor!

I ordered these via Prime and received them 2 days later. The ones I received have an expiration date 4 months in the future and are very "fresh" and soft. I received one 15.8 ounce package as advertised and Amazon's breakdown per ounce is correct. Included are sesame-covered black sesame paste-filled, peanut dust-covered peanut butter-filled, and white red bean paste-filled mochi. None of these are very sweet. I am not a picky eater by any means, even if something isn't amazing or the best. I'll usually eat it because wasting food is terrible. But these things... are AWFUL! I dunno what that is but it ain't mochi! It had the consistency and taste of a TIRE! BLEH! I tried a second one just to be sure it wasn't a fluke...NOPE! Garbage! Do not get these! Worst taking mochi ever.

This just wasn't for me in terms of flavor. Packaging, presentation, freshness were all good. I just didn't like the taste which to me, tasted bitter and not sweet at all and kinda like a hit of green tea.

I was introduced to mochi this year by a Japanese friend and for whatever reason I just loved it. There's a store around here that sells the Yuki + Love brand, and they had strawberry but it's been out of stock. I like green tea too even though it has essentially no taste. For me it's mostly about the texture so know that -- if you don't like the texture you won't like any of these. I happen to love it, and I especially love it FROZEN. The taste and texture wasn't appealing. There was some mention of peanut butter flavor but wasn't much. We don't recommend this Japanese Snack maybe some one else.

Arrived stale and inedible, as other buyers had warned. Did not appear to be a packaging issue.
