What can we say here, it works exactly as it should. I make one cup of coffee for myself every morning, and I love having a single serving size french press. It seems well made and looks good. The only complaint that I have is that the carafe is a litte loose in the holder, and the press is a little loose in the carafe. It doesn't let coffee grinds through, but it's loose enough that that it might when it gets older.

This is a terrific coffee maker--the right size, the right shape, easy to use, easy to clean, and stylish. We use it every morning, and, with not much fuss, it delivers a great cup of coffee every time. One word of caution: when cleaning it, be gentle with the glass, which is sturdy but certainly not indestructible. Bodum manufacturers a range of other coffee makers, but the Kenya is our favorite--and has been for a long time.

Bought as a gift. They love it! Press coffee is not the same as drip or perk; it's it's own creature!
